Wedding  invitations are usually mailed about two months  before the date of the wedding, to allow people plenty of time to make arrangements for traveling to the wedding venue. Obviously you will want to know whether they plan to attend the wedding and the celebrations at the wedding reception venue,  and it’s pretty essential to ask them about this.

Replying to the wedding invitation

Ask them about this by adding a short  hand-written note at the bottom of the wedding invitation. This can be something short and to the point such as ‘please reply’ or it can be a couple of lines long, and perhaps humorous.
